Seamlessly integrating a robust content management system with a full-featured ecommerce platform is a bit tricky proposition the web world but with T-shirt.ca, Raincity bridged the erstwhile gaps between art, commerce and usability in this full ecommerce implementation.

T-shirt.ca's journey began with extensive strategy planning resulting in ecommerce features including multiple combinations of products, pricing variations based on volume and different gateways for individuals and wholesale customers who can also order silkscreening services.

The ecommerce site is built for search-ability with clean, keyword-laden URLs, hierarchal menus, and separate code and design layers. This means the search engine spiders love exploring the site as well as the customers. This also means less precious marketing budget spent on customer acquisition.

Usability details include a persistent running shopping cart total and easy cart editing. Raincity also developed and implemented a custom payment gateway module (which we will contribute back the Drupal community).
